such is life
The last two weeks have been exciting, relaxing, and fun! We've been in Florida soaking up sun and squirming in sand. We've had visits with family, a day at the waterpark, a rainy day at a spring, cookouts, cookins, a proposal, late nights, early mornings, and plenty of Florida weather. No internet access. I even took less photos this year, so I could just sit back and relax.

pool progress
While we were away, the pool people have been busy! They dug the big hole the day before we left, and we were worried about missing the progress. So, to be able to watch while we were away, hubby set up a webcam in the window. It worked great! For one day. Sigh....
Before we left, they marked it out and brought in the heavy machinery for the digging:
Then yesterday we came home to this:
They got quite a bit done, but we didn't miss the concrete step. Trucks will arrive tomorrow at 7 in the morning to start shooting the concrete. The shell will be done! Then it's on to plumbing, electric, tile, plaster, coping, and all that fun stuff. I have to say, having a pool being constructed in your backyard sure does make it easier to leave the beach! :) I've been 5 years without a pool (our last house came with one), so this is so exciting!
shoppe talk
It is with great sadness that I am announcing my resignation from {we are}storytellers. I've had such a great time there, and I will miss the ladies dearly, but I need to concentrate my efforts on my own store. It was getting difficult to manage two stores, plus collabs and guest gigs. So I've decided to step down. I will be moving my WST products over to my own store within the next few days.
latest layout
Before we left, I had a chance to play with some more Prima goodies. Those of you going to CHA are in for a treat! All the new Prima eye candy I've seen so far is to die for!
Here's to sun and sand! Cheers!
